The Judds at the Venetian
Recently, Blueshift Design contracted to provide lighting and set design for The Judds: Girl’s Night Out residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas. This is one of my favorite shows that I’ve ever done to date, not only because the Venetian is a very beautiful theatrical space with a large and well-maintained rig of moving lights, but I had weeks ahead of time to sit down and painstakingly program the songs, allowing lots of time to really dig into the music and interpret it from a lighting standpoint into a show that not only showcases The Judds in the best light, but helps bring the space to life.
