I have a soft spot in my heart for kinetic sculpture, especially these sorts of elegant, flowing pieces that masterfully evoke the organic movements of the natural world. These come from New York-based artist Bob Potts:

I’d love to have an artist with music that feels right for this organic, over-wrought mechanical sort-of feel to be appropriate for the set design, though I’m sure it would be expensive to fabricate and difficult to transport.
