Halsey – hopeless fountain kingdom tour

Designer Craig Rutherford was tapped in 2016 for the Halsey Badlands Part II tour. Following the completion of this tour, we submitted our own designs based on artist feedback for something conceptually related to the Baz Luhrmann interpretation of Romeo and Juliet. Our design featured three large church-window shaped video screens as well as truss and LED neon “spires”, and a beautiful “carved stone” stage.

Ultimately, the artist chose a design based on interpretations of “macro / micro” content, with stunning side-by-side screens and a high-res LED video staircase. Blueshift Design assisted with programming several of the songs, including “Now or Never”, “New Americana”, “Don’t Play With Me”, “Control”, “Haunting”, and “Eastside”.
